Mighty River Power
At the start of 2010 the Mighty River Power Communications team engaged Screentime to produce a series of monthly employee videos delivered over our intranet.
Mighty TV is all about improving staff engagement by educating them about the different parts of the company and how they connect together. The audience demographic is quite varied- from technicians to call-centre teams- over a range of ages but predominately in the 20-40 age group. After watching Mighty TV we want staff will feel more connected to the company.
We selected Screentime for this initiative because they quickly understood our brief and put forward a proposal which delivered to what we wanted. As we’d not produced a communiqué like this before Screentime were closely involved with the design, tone, and initial series format and we were guided by their expertise. They provided a detailed plan for production and are responsible for the ongoing scheduling, scripting, production, editing and delivery of the finished magazine ready for web delivery.
Communication is open and timely and we’ve always felt confident that they have the interests of the show, and the reputation of the Communications team, at heart. And they’re fun to work with!
Having produced a number of episodes now we’ve been very happy with not only the quality of the finished videos and how they’ve met the brief, but also with how smoothly production had gone. Some editions have required recording stories at a number of locations across the mid-North Island with tight timeframes and Screentime’s planning and logistics have resulted in efficient shoots and engaging results. All programmes have been delivered on time and the feedback from staff to their show has been really positive.
I would recommend them to any organisation who wanted confidence that their video project would be produced professionally and cost-effectively.
