Happy 50th!

Of course we love working with internationally successful iconic brands, and it's even better when we get the chance to get creative to celebrate an impressive milestone.

May 2012 sees Villa Maria wines celebrating its 50th Vintage and Screentime were engaged to create a video that would accompany the winery's founder, Sir George Fistonich, around the world on a celebratory roadshow.

We created an animated archive of images from Villa Maria’s last 50 years- browsing though the pages of the company’s memorabilia album to follow the highlights of this impressive journey. From the beginning in a small vineyard in Mangere, through the many accolades for Sir George and his wines; the first NZ winery to hire female reps and the first to go cork-free.

The final result hopefully presents Villa Maria’s 50th Vintage year as an inspiring, celebration-worthy achievement for New Zealand’s most awarded family-owned winery. It's certainly had a great reception.
