How to Blowfill $15Million
It’s faster, more efficient and better for the environment. It’s Blowfill, Coca-Cola Amatil’s incredible manufacturing line technology that ‘blows’ a PET bottle from a tiny resin pellet while on the production line and then automatically fills it with beverage.
At its peak, the state-of-the-art production line will produce up to a whopping 16,000 filled bottles an hour. We’re told that’s quite a lot.
Screentime Communications has not only documented the installation and commissioning of the new Auckland Blowfill line, but we also created the promotional video media pack highlighting CCA’s investment in the new Christchurch plant after the current facility was significantly damaged in the recent earthquake.
At the media event in Christchurch in April, many staff, Government Ministers and the Prime Minister were on hand to support CCA’s commitment to building the $15million blowfill bottle manufacturing and filling operation at its Woolston Plant. The new facility will manufacture beverages for the entire South Island as well as some for the North.
