Smile, You’re on TV!
With over 200 branches and more that 5,500 staff, Westpac NZ has a lot of people to engage with on a regular basis. So they’ve engaged us to produce a monthly in-house video magazine- ‘Smile TV’- to improve staff engagement within their branch Network, educating them about the different parts of the company and how they connect together.
It’s a winning communications approach that we have a wealth of experience with, regularly producing similar format internal TV channels for a number of clients including, Coca-Cola Amatil, Mighty River Power and New Zealand Trade & Enterprise.
Like much of the work we produce, the talent for each story comes straight from the branch teams at Westpac with little or no experience in front of the camera at all. But they’re in safe hands with our experienced and professional crew (and occasionally a teleprompter) on-hand to guide them through the recording process and hopefully enjoy the experience.
We’ve already completed the second episode and have had a great time visiting branches up and down the country, meeting the teams and unearthing great stories that now can be shared with a larger, and more engaged, audience.
