Lest We Forget

Lest We Forget

Michelle Mann from the Rotary Club of Meadowbank in Auckland had an idea and a vision. She envisioned Kiwis extending the spirit and fellowship of the ANZAC Day dawn service into home-hosting a Great Kiwi ANZAC Day Breakfast which raised funds for the restoration of the country's war memorials at the same time.

So she came to us to find out how to produce a video presentation which would inspire other Club members to host their own breakfasts and would be presented on DVD for Rotary Clubs around the country to play as part of group presentations or for individual members to watch at home.

Inspired by Michelle's concept and passion, we were delighted to have the opportunity to be part of such a worthwhile initiative. From video footage recorded at the first two homes to host Great Kiwi ANZAC Day Breakfasts we've started crafting a short powerful promotional message which explains what the Breakfast is, how the idea came about, how it fits into existing ANZAC Day commemorations, what the funds raised will be used for, and how people can host their own Breakfast in 2008.
