We recommend putting in a pencil hold on ASAP as we're extemely popular at the moment.

Green Screen:5.8m x 3.5m permanent green screen.

Lighting Grid:Fixed, permanent scaffold rig over stage area. Permanent wheeled scaffold tower for rigging.

Electrical:63 amps AC, 3-phase power, check metered distribution box

Facilities:Make-up / Dressing room / Green Room w/ fridge, watercooler and kitchen sink. 3x large tables, 1x trestle table, 8x chairs

Parking:Drive-in access, off-road parking for up to 5 vehicles. Here's a mud map of the studio parking spaces. Parking anywhere else without authorisation may either get you towed or ticketed :-)

Early-bird parking available at the Victoria Park carpark ($6 per day). Good Pay & Display parking on Sales Street & surrounding side streets (up to 8 hours at some)

Studio Lighting Cupboard

Lighting

*We have 3 banks of cyc lights permanently mounted in the ceiling rig which come with the studio.

But we also have a basic lighting kit available for hire for $100 +GST p/d consisting of:
2x Blondes w/stands + 1x Redhead w/stand + 2x 1K Colortrans w/stands
2x C-stands & cutter arms + 6x Sandbags + 4x Extension Leads.
Just enough to get you out of trouble maybe...

We also have a 3-phase to single-phase distribution boxor hire for $25 +GST p/d. (There it is, bottom left of the lighting cupboard)

This unit is a 3-phase, 32 amp outlet with 10m cable split down to 9 X 20amp fused double 10amp sockets, giving a total of 18 outlets, which, when coupled to the existing 4 x 20amp fused double 10amp sockets mounted in the main distribution board, will be ideal for most small - medium productions.


Painting

* Painting the Studio- cyc and floor
The cyc will be provided clean white and, along with studio floor, has to be returned to the same standard upon completion of a booking. Should we have to repaint the cyc and/or the studio floor- or if you want an idea of the rates involved in painting the studio a different colour- for green/bluescreen work say- the rate is based on the following:
Cyc painting / repainting charge - white on white:5hrs work. Total = $200+GST

Studio floor painting / repainting charge - white on white:4 hours work (1 x coat). Total = $180+GST

Cyc painting / repainting charge - from one colour to another:1 day's work (2 coats @ 5 hours per coat). Total = $400+GST + 1 day studio hire

Studio floor painting / repainting charge - from one colour to another:8 hours work (2 coats @ 4 hours per coat). Total = $360+GST + 1 day studio hire

Of course you're welcome to paint it yourself and the paint quantities required to do this can be supplied on request, but our painter is very reasonable. And does this a LOT. :-)
