Screentime is New Zealand's premier producer of drama, actuality, documentary, and corporate television.  Since our first production in 1996 we have produced more than 1000 hours of high-end television programmes for all of the major New Zealand television networks, and have achieved considerable success abroad.

Screentime’s most recent portfolio includes the highly acclaimed tele-feature BloodLines, our first feature film ICE (NZ/UK Co-production), and the long running factual series Police Ten 7, Beyond the Darklands, The Missing, Illegal NZ and Marae DIY.  In addition Screentime has produced several successful documentaries including the award winning Colin McCahon: I Am, Are Vitamins Killing You? Mercury Falling, Profiles, Street Kids and the 18 hour live broadcast for Maori Television Services Na Ratou Mo Tatou: They did it for us, Anzac Day 2006, 2007 and Tribute 08. 

Format’s that have achieved international success include Popstars, Strip Search, and Single Girls.

Screentime’s Communication division’s expertise is second to none, having produced everything from internal presentations to TV commercials, and all delivered on time and on budget. Our reputation for cost-effective and efficient video production has earned us preferred supplier status with a number of business and organisations including Air New Zealand, Repco (NZ), Coca Cola Amatil, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, Mighty River Power, and TVLowCost (NZ), and our international awards are numerous and testimony to the world-class product we deliver year after year.

Screentime Group History

Screentime was established 11 years ago, and now operates in NZ, Australia, Ireland and the UK. Together The Group produces multi-award winning programmes in all genres worldwide.

Since its inception Screentime has enjoyed great success with a variety of drama projects including the long form drama series BREAKERS (430 episodes) and MDA (3 series - 56 episodes), as well as mini series MARY BRYANT, JESSICA ,and THE POTATO FACTORY; telemovies THE SOCIETY MURDERS, MY HUSBAND MY KILLER, IHAKA and CLOSE CONTACT, FALSE WITNESS and the acclaimed series UNDERBELLY.
