Nic Watt is an award winning chef who has owned some of the top Japanese restaurants in the world. He's now returning to New Zealand to open Masu, a brand new Japanese restaurant in Auckland's Federal Street dining precinct.
But if there's one thing Nic's learnt in the restaurant game, what works in one place, may not work in another. So to create his menu, he's putting Kiwi taste buds to the test. In his test kitchen Nic makes three Japanese dishes all inspired by a Kiwi classic.
